A New Children's Book Series
He isn't brave. He isn't chosen. He just keeps showing up. A small, clumsy goat who somehow becomes the one everyone follows — very much against his will.

The Cast
The Sugarwood is full of quiet things — a hedgehog who hums her worries to sleep, a sugar glider who keeps secrets in the high branches, a goat who means well. Together they make a family.

A Three-Book Series
When Peppermint accidentally extinguishes the only lantern in Sugarwood, the candy-forest goes dark — and only the smallest, clumsiest goat can find a way to light it again.
Read Book 1Book Two
A storm of sour cherries threatens to flood the burrow of Plum the hedgehog. Peppermint must round up his strange little friends before sunrise — without breaking anything important. (He will break something important.)
Book Three
Peppermint wishes, just once, that he didn't knock things over. The wish comes true. The forest, somehow, becomes a lonelier place. A quiet story about being exactly who you are.
The Shop
Bring a piece of Sugarwood home. Every order is packed with care (and probably a little peppermint dust).
A First Page
In a forest that smelled faintly of sugar and warm vanilla, there lived a very small goat named Peppermint.
He had soft red and white stripes, like a candy cane left out in the rain, two tiny curly horns no bigger than thimbles, and four hooves that never quite agreed on which way to go.
Peppermint did not mean to knock things over. He simply… arrived. And then things were on the floor.
"Oh dear," he would whisper. And the forest, somewhere in its branches, would softly laugh.
